We welcome Steel & Jelly

Our latest ecomm concessions brand? Step forward Steel & Jelly, a standout example of British menswear design and tailoring. The brand was founded in 2004 by father (Steel) and son (Jelly) who pooled their combined forty years in the fashion industry to create their own menswear brand.

Since its inception, the brand has gained a loyal following with its emphasis on ‘threading the past to the present’. Indeed, whilst its designs are distinctly modern in look and feel, they tip their head to that unique British quality of refined tailoring.

Steel & Jelly has now been selected by Hallett Retail to trade within Debenhams online concessions and we’d like to wish them all the best over the course of 2018.

We’ve been seeing ecommerce concessions rise in importance over the past few years. It’s not just ecomm concessions either, the entire fashion industry is moving towards ecomm as a primary driver of sales. Look at the recent news of Adidas shutting shops but in the same breath aiming to double their ecomm sales by 2020. The trend is clear.

Much of this ecommerce is coming from mobile devices – at a seminar we attended with Net-a-Porter last month at London’s South Bank, the ecomm fashion giant disclosed that they’ve witnessed a 56% year-on-year rise in mobile ecommerce sales. Since adopting ‘mobile-first’ technology and ‘one click’ to purchase, Porter Digital’s mobile traffic has doubled.

i.LEVEL has also pioneered the use of mobile – our mobile order taker is a standout example of using mobile tech within the fashion supply chain. It allows fashion brands to take orders on a mobile device (even if there isn’t an internet connection) and send the orders via mobile to the warehouse for dispatch and delivery the same day. It’s a powerful, fast and cost-effective way for fashion brands to become truly mobile and take orders at showrooms, exhibitions and events….in fact anywhere.

We have also pioneered IT integrations with major retail hosts and third party ecommerce platforms like Amazon and La Redoute. In fact we now have over 35 integrations across the UK fashion industry allowing our client fashion brands to trade seamlessly with dozens of retailers, both on and offline. We also have a few new integrations to announce over the coming months which will further empower brands to trade across new sales channels.

If you are an independent fashion brand trading with any of these retailers or platforms, both online or High Street retail, get in touch. Our software will allow you to trade with them cost-effectively and efficiently with the smooth transfer of data between all parties. Just call 01234 761757 or email – we’d be delighted to demo our solutions in person or online.
